What is it?

Clonidine is a sedative that is used to treat high blood pressure, Clonidine extended-release tablets can be used to control the symptoms of ADHD. Clonidine affects the brain by helping reduce anxiety and therefore, giving the user a feeling of euphoria, pain relief, and relaxation – all desired effects.

How is it dangerous?

Clonidine can cause side effects that include difficulty breathing, swelling of the throat and face, low blood pressure, and a slower heart rate. Clonidine can sometimes cause a drop in blood pressure, which can cause people to become lightheaded or faint. Combining this drug with other drugs can produce a strong sedative effect, hypertension, anxiety, and major withdrawal symptoms.
