2c-b is classified as a novel psychoactive drug from the phenethylamine class of drugs, similar to mescaline. Its effects vary depending on dosage, but is classified as a stimulant and hallucinogenic. It is a club drug, commonly found as an adulterant in MDMA or Ecstasy. It can also be taken alone.
