Our Commitment to Excellence

As a Center of Excellence accredited by the Joint Commission, we hold ourselves to a high standard when it comes to patient care. Our Dallas detox center staff includes a medical director, a clinical director, and experienced ICU/ER nursing staff who are experts in managing withdrawal symptoms.

Patients in our detox programs meet daily with a healthcare provider and a mental health professional to assess their symptoms and ensure treatment is as comfortable and effective as possible. We are committed to providing the most comprehensive care with the least risk and overall cost.

In addition, we honor the individual experiences of our clients—including past traumas and mental health issues—which is why we frequently use the phrase “dignity in healing.” Our goal is for clients to feel respected, heard, and welcomed as they embark on the challenging journey of addiction recovery.

The Gallus Method

Over our 10+ years in the addiction recovery industry, we have developed a proprietary regimen of oral and IV medications that help prevent and minimize withdrawal symptoms, leading to successful outcomes for our patients. We refer to this as “The Gallus Method.”

Our team monitors ever-changing drug trends, developing non-cross addicting treatments and tapering schedules that help ensure a safe and effective detox.

Withdrawal symptoms can vary depending on the type of drug used, the length of addiction, and other factors such as mental and physical health. Because of our experience with various addiction types, including polysubstance addiction, we are able to work with patients to customize treatment plans that fit their needs and circumstances.

As a destination for care, patients come to our Dallas treatment center from Texas and across the country. We are conveniently located near leading international airports and we provide ground transportation to and from our facilities in Dallas, Texas.

Gallus Medical Detox in Dallas, TX leads in patient satisfaction, aftercare, and treatment completion rates.

How Medical Detox Supports Addiction Recovery

Anxiety and shame are often the biggest hurdles that prevent patients from receiving proper treatment for substance misuse. Many individuals avoid seeking high quality inpatient medical detox services because of associated stigma or the fear of uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms.

However, avoiding detoxing or attempting to detox without professional assistance, and choosing lower levels of care can dramatically harm an individual’s ability to recover. Withdrawal from drugs or alcohol is physically difficult, and can be dangerous without medical supervision. The best and safest option for handling substance misuse is medically managed inpatient detox.

Many behavioral health programs require patients to be sober and medically stable before admission. Gallus partners with several addiction treatment programs throughout Texas and the United States. We will work with you or your loved one offering referrals and assisting in the transition of ongoing care to ensure you receive the support and healing needed to begin your recovery journey.
