Who is Dr. Gallus? He is a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician, Medical Director of Gallus Detox Centers and Chief of Staff of Yavapai Regional Medical Center.
Why did he develop the Gallus Detox Method? In his 15+ years of ER experience treating critical cases, he saw far too many related to substance abuse and felt there was a need for a safe and comfortable detox method.
What is the Gallus Method? In brief, this exclusive treatment is intravenous (IV) based so medications can be adjusted moment by moment to quickly relieve uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms.
For patient safety, Dr. Gallus designed a sub-acute medical facility that includes cardiac telemetry, video surveillance and monitoring by ER/ICU-level Registered Nurses 24/7.
Each detail of the Gallus Detox Method—including upscale private rooms, HDTV, wifi and massage therapy—is essential to our goal: that the detox process is safe and comfortable so every patient can successfully complete the detox phase.
What about after care?Because we care about each individual and their continued sobriety, a plan for after care is an important part of the Gallus Detox Method. Our Licensed Substance Abuse Counselors will assist in finding the appropriate after-care program for you.
Is this a one-size-fits-all program? No! We focus on treating you as a unique person with specific needs, emotions, substance abuse issues and outside concerns. Your customized plan starts on day one with a psychological and social assessment followed by a physical assessment of vital signs, lab testing, history and a physical exam. Our Medical Detox Team then meets with you to review your results and explain your personalized detox plan. Immediately following that, your treatment begins and you're starting on the road to recovery.
