Good for you! We know you're scared for yourself or your loved but you've taken the first step: deciding it's time to recover from alcoholism or drug addiction. Your next step is just as important: choosing a facility that ensures your detox is fast, safe and comfortable. The Gallus Detox Method meets all those needs along with providing upscale private rooms and round-the-clock medical care. The Gallus treatment program relieves the pain and misery of withdrawal and—unlike Waismann and similar "rapid drug detox" methods—it does NOT involve the risk of anesthesia. Our in-patient detox treatment is supervised by our on-site medical detox team of doctors, nurses and technicians and is effective for alcoholism and other substance abuse including the full range of addictive prescription drugs, heroin, opiates, opioids, Lortab®, Klonopin®, Vicodin®, Oxycontin® (oxy), Suboxone®, benzodiazepines (benzos), Xanax®, Valium®, barbiturates, methamphetamines and more.

What Is the Gallus Detox Method?

Dr Gallus, Gallus Detox MethodThe inpatient Gallus Detox Method was developed by Dr. Patrick Gallus, a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician with over 17 years of experience treating critical cases related to drug and alcohol abuse. This exclusive method focuses on treating you as a unique individual with specific needs, emotions, alcohol and drug issues and outside concerns. This is not a one-size-fits-all program! Your personalized plan starts on day one with a psychological and social assessment followed by a physical assessment of vital signs, lab testing, history and a physical exam. Then our Medical Detox Team meets with you to review your results and explain your customized detoxification plan. Immediately after that, your treatment begins. Our intravenous (IV) based medication therapy enables us to respond instantly to relieve discomfort rather than having you wait for slow-acting oral medication typically used in other facilities. To ensure your safety and comfort, you are monitored round-the-clock with cardiac telemetry, video technology and personal attention from our caring Registered Nurses and Technicians who are on site 24 hours a day.
