Joseph (Jody) Guerra, LCDC, became an LCDC in 1992 and has worked in various settings of the industry, including outpatient, inpatient, and private practice environments, holding different positions from Counselor, Program Director, Professional Relations and Admissions. He has served on advocacy boards and coalitions locally and regionally and currently serves on the state board of the Texas Association of Addiction Professionals. He has been a longtime advocate in the addictions profession helping to recognize and respond to community needs. After 30 years of professional experience, he remains passionate about the treatment of SUD and the hope for recovery.
