Gallus Detox Centers does accept insurance as a form of payment, by working with you to verify your coverage before admission and upon your discharge billing your insurance company for services rendered.
Here are the steps that need to be taken:
- Call us so that we can get all your insurance information, and we will check with your insurance company for the appropriate benefits.
- If you have benefits for treatment at Gallus Detox Centers, we will then do an assessment with you (preferably prior to admission) and then provide the needed information necessary to your insurance company.
Gallus Detox Centers does not guarantee reimbursement for your insurance company (even if treatment had been authorized) but will provide you with as much support and assistance as possible in receiving reimbursement from your insurance company.
We want to assure you that the Gallus Detox Centers team is providing your loved one with the best possible care. We can have the nurse working directly with your loved one call you and give you an update on the status of his or her care, and they can answer any other questions you might have about the detoxification process.
It is highly recommended that after detox patients transition immediately into some type of treatment setting in order to continue on in their recovery process. In fact, studies have shown that relapse among those who return to their normal lives immediately following detox is extraordinarily high, upwards of 80 to 90 percent!
Gallus Detox Centers has a number of inpatient addiction treatment centers we work with that are in our partner network – both in Scottsdale, Prescott, and Houston as well as nationwide. This lets us work with you directly to customize the best treatment rehab setting that meets your specific needs.
It all depends on the individual person as well as the substance of abuse, along with amounts and how much they are using. This is a difficult question to answer without knowing more information. We can say that while detoxing from opiates, heroin and painkillers (i.e., Vicodin, Oxycodone, Percocet, etc.), even though it can feel downright miserable, it is typically not life threatening.
However, a cold turkey detox from alcohol or benzodiazepines (i.e., Valium, Xanax, Klonopin, etc.) can definitely pose potentially life-threatening scenarios.
Please feel free to always call your admissions adviser for any questions or concerns you might have about your family member. Our licensed substance abuse counselors typically call families once a week to update them on a person's status and well-being. If you choose to contact the licensed substance abuse counselor, please remember that they like to return calls at the end of the day, so if they don’t call back immediately you can be sure to hear from them by the end of the day.
Your admissions advisor will email you a list of you can and cannot bring during your stay at Gallus Detox Center. We want you to be comfortable during your stay here, so this is not a time for fancy jewelry and designer jeans. This is a time for sweatpants, gym shorts, comfortable shirts and so on. You will be in compassionate hands, and if by some chance you happen to need something which you forgot at home, rest assured that we will do what is needed to keep you comfortable.
