Just a quick note to express my sincere thanks for the “above and beyond” service provided me during my 4 night stay at your outstanding facility. Having had the misfortune of not staying sober the first few times around and literally spent time at all 5 detox centers in the metropolitan Phoenix area, Scottsdale, Mesa, Phoenix, Tempe and Chandler each time trying to find one that was better than the previous one. I once again found myself in need of help. To be honest all the detox facilities in the Phoenix area provided the means to an end but by no means the most comfortable environment. Always two to a room; a normal procedure here in the Phoenix area; very little contact with the outside world, food worse than the one-time airline food, scheduled classes throughout the day and never feeling up to par to comprehend and even sit still through these classes. No newspapers, restricted TV time and now even some are no-smoking which to a smoker is a double whammy. If anyone is in need of Detox I would HIGHLY recommend Gallus Detox. Hopefully I will never have the need of another detox facility but if by chance I fail yet once again there is absolutely no doubt in my mind where I’m going. Not only do I know for a fact this is by far the BEST facility in Arizona I would be willing to bet it’s the BEST facility in the country. D.R.
I have never been to a detox center before but I’ve heard a lot of horrible things about some. I was terrified to come here and when I arrived I asked one of the patients how it was here? She said “I have been to several and this is the best of the best”. It is the nicest facility with the most wonderful genuine staff. Every accommodation possible is here and it’s just like home. My experience at the Gallus Detox has been one of great help. The staff and nurses did a great job and met my every need and helped me in a great way. The ideal detox is a place where you feel safe, a place to leave your problems at the door and direct your focus to the task at hand. It sounds odd to recommend a detox center to others, it’s not something one ever really wants to do, but I would sincerely urge anyone struggling with a substance abuse problem to please go see this amazing clinic that Dr. Gallus and his top-notch staff has established. In my experience of over 20+ inpatient stays at detox and rehabs, I have never had an experience even come close to the one I had here. Heck, I would send someone without an alcohol, drug, emotional, psychological disorder to this this clinic, just because the experience is so pleasant, but I would want those who need to get the first bed.I came here a hopeless alcoholic with a rapidly growing dependency on prescription narcotics. I left a hopeful alcoholic with better medication and a plan. They care. They love what they do. This “hand-picked” staff makes the place. In turn, the patient gets the benefit of getting healthier and gaining knowledge as oppose to what is typically a horribly unpleasant experience. D.F.

This was a great detox. I had a great experience, I have been to seven other detox clinics and none compare to Gallus Detox in Arizona! Everyone that worked there is extremely nice, caring, and always met my needs! I was detoxing off of “HEROIN”. In the past the detox clinics were either unbearable or they loaded me up so much that I was far more drugged up than before. The way Dr. Gallus handled my situation was perfect.
