When researching medical detox programs, you'll find there are actually very few specialized detox centers in Oklahoma or elsewhere in the country. Although many rehab facilities offer some type of detoxification program, their treatment program may be completely "natural" or "holistic" and based solely on vitamins, saunas, yoga and meditation. A non-medical program may not be safe for alcoholics or drug addicts with long-term dependency and questionable health. Withdrawal symptoms may also become so severe and unpleasant that a patient can't continue with a cold-turkey program. When a medical detox is needed for safety and comfort, consider Gallus Detox Centers.
